HOLOGRAM PRESENTS AEREA LIVE & PHILIPPA PACHO

Hologram is closing the year with one of the most interesting techno bills in Thessaloniki. On Saturday 19 December the party returns to Soul with a live show from Spanish duo AEREA and a set from Berlin based selector Philippa Pacho, with more names and local artists still to be announced. Doors open at 22:30 and the night runs until 08:00.

Who Are AEREA

AEREA are a Spanish duo who blur the lines between trance, hardgroove and peak time techno. What makes them stand out is the live element: they combine their signature synth melodies with live vocals in both Spanish and English, which turns a club set into something closer to a concert. Their sound keeps evolving, but it always balances the raw intensity of the dancefloor with a strong emotional side.

That approach has taken AEREA a long way in a short time. They have played major festivals such as Sónar, Dreambeach and The Town in Brazil, as well as respected clubs including Hï Ibiza, E1 London and Fabrik Madrid. For many people in Thessaloniki, this will be the first chance to catch the AEREA live show up close.

Who Is Philippa Pacho

Born in Sweden and now based in Berlin, Philippa Pacho came up through Stockholm’s underground scene and has built one of the most distinctive sounds in modern European techno. Her sets are hypnotic and driving, built on steady pressure and relentless groove rather than cheap peaks, and they keep a room locked in until the very end. Her tour diary speaks for itself, with appearances at Berghain, Bassiani, Dekmantel, Awakenings, RSO and FOLD.

A Strong Year for Soul

Soul on 26is Oktovriou Street has had a busy season, hosting nights like NOPUS with Marco Bailey and MVMNT’s Halloween party. Hologram’s December date is one of the last big club nights of the year in the city, and it lands one month after Mutual Rytm’s first showcase at WE, which makes the end of 2026 a strong period for techno in Thessaloniki.

Local Forces

Hologram has made a point of giving local artists real space on its lineups, and the organisers have promised more announcements for this edition. Expect names from the Thessaloniki scene to complete the night around the two headliners.

Tickets start from just 5€ through ComeTogether, which makes this one of the most accessible big techno nights of the season. With prices that low and a lineup of this level, early phases are likely to go quickly.

AEREA are part of a new wave mixing trance and techno with live performance, while Philippa Pacho represents the deep, driving side that has always been at the heart of the genre. Putting them on the same night gives the crowd a full picture of the sound in one go.

Getting There

Soul sits on 26is Oktovriou Street on the western side of the city centre, a short taxi ride from Aristotelous Square. With the party running until 08:00, it is worth planning your ride home in advance, especially on a busy pre Christmas weekend.
